Terry Napora has twenty years experience as a trial lawyer representing mainly individuals, societies and small businesses. The main emphasis of his practice is personal injury, insurance claims and employment law. Terry Napora is on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and is a member of the Kootenay Bar Association, and the Law Society of British Columbia. Our fees vary, but as a rule of thumb, for a consultation on a settlement offer where the total amount received is under $10,000, we charge $250 plus taxes and an office fee (including taxes) of $10.70. Any amounts between $10,000 and $50,000 would have an initial cost of $500 plus taxes and an office fee (including taxes) of $21.40.

Before we give you advice on a settlement, we suggest you have your adjuster give the following information, which you will have to send to us (by fax, mail or email):

If they claim that you are partially at fault (contributory negligence): the information and records they have to justify this
All consultation reports and clinical records
All records they have of medical payments made on your behalf.
